A lone Silverback tested himself at the Combat Corner Grappling Championship on September 12, 2026.
Shea Wilkins did a great job in a best of three bracket for his age group and belt.
He secured a win by points in the first match. The second match was much closer with each competitor unable to secure a score in regulation time. During the sudden victory period Shea achieved a takedown to mount position during a scramble to get the victory!
This was Shea’s first gold at a Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Congrats!
Shea also competed in the no-gi division.
He lost his first match. He won the 3rd place match as the other opponent decided to forfeit at the last minute. Congrats again on the hardware, Shea!
