He had a single opponent in the heavyweight division.
Scott was able to secure the victory with a light switch choke.
The open weight division had 7 competitors in total. Scott received a bye as the number one seed. He won a very close semi-final by an advantage.
The open weight final was also very close. At the end of regulation time neither opponent had scored. The decision was in the hands of the referee, who chose Scott’s opponent as the victor.
Scott will be heading to Las Vegas in a few weeks to compete at the IBJJF World Mater Jiu-Jitsu tournament.
