Silverbacks grapple at Battle of the Badges

Three Silverbacks exhibited their grappling skills at the Battle of the Badges in West Allis on December 19th, 2025.

Each match was submission-only for one round. If a submission did occur, the match was restarted with the continuing time. The competitor with the most submissions at full time was declared the winner. Ties were left to the mat official to decide.

Jordan dominated his match but could not quite get the submission.

He won by official’s decision.

Chuck was submitted via ankle lock early in the period, but came back to secure a submission via an Anaconda Choke. This was a great, action packed match with the back and forth submissions!

After that Chuck remained in a dominant position and received the decision from the official.

Nick secured an Arm Triangle submission early in the period.

After a restart, his opponent attempted a straight ankle lock which Nick defended and then proceeded to a dominant position for the remainder of the period. Winner by submission!

All in all it was an exciting night of grappling for a good cause. These three Silverbacks put their heart into preparing and demonstrated it in the cage!
